GREEN STAR FOR AB 140.
AB 140 is a Luxury Motor yacht as well as a quintessential example of the most advanced technologies. Comfortable spaces, volumes, and great liveability in the different areas on board, from the aft to the bow, represent a distinguishing characteristic of AB 140. A concept that will not pass unnoticed. The yacht was designed following all the personal requisites of the owner. We used sober colours, but very original ones, like the crystal panels with a geometric-designed wooden lacework. On the main deck there are the salon, dining room, wheelhouse and a small dining room for relaxing. The lower deck hosts four big cabins with en suite bathroom, a gym and very elegant rooms for 7 crew members.
We have given primary importance to lightning in all spaces. We adopted a modern and essential style both for exterior and interiors. The fitting out is painstaking, based on valuable materials. On board AB 140 space in the open air is incredibly large, with huge square meters of bow and stern cockpits. On the stern, below the big sunbeds, there is the wide garage with the tenders inside as well as jet ski and complete equipment for launch and lifting.
This area, that is in part covered by the flying bridge floor is furnished with sofas and armchairs. Inside the deckhouse spaces are clearly divided through a particular positioning of furniture. The utmost care was given in organizing the nautical division. The wheelhouse contains a panel made of composite and finished with imitation carbon with serigraphies. The driving area hosts three independent adjustable armchairs lined with leather and a charting table. The wide apartment of the owner, completely independent, contains a bathroom area with bathtub, dressing room with wardrobe, an office and a gym and sauna facilities.
A staircase and a central corridor connect the main deck with the big guest cabins amidships. The cabins are like suites, for their size and endless refinement.
The main galley, the elegant crew cabins (for 7 members) with bathrooms and the dinette take up a big part of the below deck. All the furniture are made of ultralight composite materials and their assembling is carried out through bonding agents. The pattering surface is made of composite material, sustained by elastic bearings.
Fipa Group is giving more and more importance to the aspect of environmental friendly production. This new AB 140 is being built according to the RINA Green Star Certification. We think that environmental friendliness is a must for a modern yacht that aims to satisfy more and more demanding Customers. The RINA Green Star Yacht additional class notation and logo identify yachts which are designed, constructed and operated in such a way as to ensure maximum respect for the environment, both in terms of design arrangement and operational procedures for machinery and onboard installations that have to be built according to special requirements of this notation. As a matter of fact, this certification means for the shipyard following clear technical standards for the design and construction of onboard systems and plants. For the personnel on board, it means that they have to develop special procedures for proper management of polluting substances.
All of this is followed by AB Yachts without giving up its distinctive marks, that are high quality of materials, speed, special care to interior design, valuable materials.
