Seawater Tenders

Seawater Tenders

Established in 2004, Seawater has been founded by Managing Director Swann Usai, who has always seen RIBs as one of the most appealing and promising fields of the shipbuilding business .
His insight, teamed together with the skill and talent of his partner Maurizio Manca, a boat builder with over twenty years experience, gave rise to an endeavour that started almost by chance, as an experiment, but Seawater is now a solid reality with promising results and  growth rates that a recently  born company like Seawater has to work hard to keep up with.

Seawater was joined in 2007 by engineer and designer Gianluca Righi, whose contribution was to use  more modern design and production tools and to have an engineering approach to work that allowed the creation of four new models in just under two years from the company’s opening.

Five years have passed and Seawater can already boast the production of innovative and elegant Hypalon-Neoprene tubed RIBs, used in numerous roles such as work boats, day cruisers, maxi tenders and chase boats. All models above 10 metres are built by vacuum infusion lamination, with the use of epoxy-vinylester resin and biaxial and quadriaxial fibre-glass mats, to ensure lightweight and highly resistant hulls.

The company’s production facility is based in Cagliari, Sardinia and has the sales office and showroom in Olbia, Sardinia, Plans to produce maxi tenders up to 20 metres in length, for the ‘One-Off Super Tender’ brand, using state of the art technology in GRP and composite materials are well on their way and in 2010 production will commence on the first orders of the Convertible 500 model with double/triple inboard diesel engines and propulsion through stern drives or surface drives or triple/quadruple outboard motors with up to 1400hp.
Seawater has attended and continues to attend at all major international boat shows, such as  Monaco, Cannes, Miami and Genoa.

Convertible 410/430
At the cutting edge of Seawater’s production, the Convertible 410/430 has been designed from the start as a multiple role RIB. A straightforward yet elegant craft, it is an ideal advanced pleasure boat,  also capable of acting as an efficient maxi tender or chase boat and is equally suitable as a work boat. ‘Convertible’ means a simple and neat design, a modular deck layout, a meticulous study of space onboard  and standard or optional fittings and accessories which make it not only modern and attractive, but above all practical, functional and safe. Capable of providing high performance and excellent handling, even in adverse sea conditions, in total safety and with a vast range, the design philosophy behind the 410/430 focuses not only on the ‘adrenaline factor’ of performance but also does not overlook the fundamental characteristics such as an innovative design, sophisticated looks or comfort. The possibility of adding accessories like the modified console housing a toilet, the galley/refrigerator module, the bow thruster, the dual position power steering and sun covers, enhance the boat’s versatility even further, making it an extremely adaptable product, capable of providing total satisfaction to its owner, no matter in which role it is used.

Smeralda 320
9.9 metres overall length by 3.85 metres overall beam. A stern bank seat which converts into a spacious sun bed, several generously sized watertight lockers for storage, a bow folding table that turns the front lockers into another comfortable sun bed, a refrigerator and 600 litres of fuel capacity, make this RIB suitable for all round use. The 320 can be a relaxing and comfortable day cruiser, an excellent fishing boat, a thrilling tender / toy or work boat. A robust and resistant craft, built to withstand the toughest sea conditions, in comfort and total safety and with outstanding marine handling. The 320 was conceived from the very beginning to be able to act as a maxi tender / chase boat to large yachts. This model can be extensively customized and rigged for a 360° use as a reliable, practical and elite support boat to maxi-yachts.
