The new, modern 5,500 m² eco-premises of WhisperPower in Drachten (NL) will be opened in spectacular fashion by Member of the Provincial Executive of Friesland, S. Galema on Friday 4 June.
“It promises to be a festive occasion, says Roel ter Heide, director, owner and founder of WhisperPower. “After the official opening ceremony there will be entertainment for all ages from 14.00 to 21.00, including tours and a TechnoMarket, as well as a merry-go-round and miniature steam train. To crown it all there will be a performance by Dutch artist Syb van der Ploeg from the popular band De Kast, followed by a fun party.“
WhisperPower is a young industrial company known for developing and manufacturing a new generation of energy systems for marine vessels, vehicles and remote locations without an electricity network.

“WhisperPower’s mission is to enhance the energy generating industry by offering cleaner, quieter and more efficient systems,” explains Ter Heide. “Some 40 full-time employees work on the development, assembly and logistics of our products in the new premises, which are equipped with an advanced ‘energy reclaiming system’ for climate control. This is the perfect platform for achieving our goals.”
