Xiqui Mas steps down from his post as Vilanova Grand Marina’s Chairman after five years of Presidency. He has been involved in the project from the outset as creator, promoter and shareholder. This decision is due to the change of direction undertaken by other marina shareholders, which is fundamentally different to Xiqui Mas’s original concept.
The incoming President of the Vilanova Grand Marina, Rafael Cañero has told the Press that during recent years, there is no doubt that Varador 2000’s Commercial team, the Company run by Xiqui Mas, has done an outstanding promotional job which has led to excellent results, placing the marina in a leading position worldwide in the Super Yacht world. This was despite the tough consequences of a global crisis and the financial recession in the economy.

The effort and dedication of Varador 2000’s team have been confirmed during recent years by the successful sale of berths culminating with the sale of two 80 metre berths to close a satisfactory year.
